Fleecehaven Sheep Charity

Earlier this year we had a request from a sheep charity called Fleecehaven asking if we could support their work.  We receive many similar requests each month and have regular meetings to consider these.  We try to give our support to countryside charities helping animals.

Fleecehaven is based in North Devon and aims to promote humane behaviour towards sheep by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security to those sheep which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstances.

We sent them one of our chunky sheep charm bracelets to raffle off for charity funds.  I was delighted to receive an email today to say they had raised £250.  Michelle from the charity told me:  "This is absolutely amazing and so needed at the current time, especially as Fleecehaven has just taken in some new residents, including two blind lambs and their mothers who will need extra care and TLC."
