Maggie Dog Memorial Necklace

When Georgie contacted me shortly after the death of her beloved dog Maggie, the Maggie-sized hole in her life was evident.  Maggie, a German Shepherd and Old English Sheepdog cross, was a stunning pup, but more than that, she was Georgie's best friend.

Maggie's Mum Sharon stepped in and commissioned me to make the necklace as a surprise for Georgie's birthday.

I made Maggie from layers of oxidised sterling silver, which was heavily engraved to reflect Maggie’s beautiful coat.  I added a light touch of gold plating around her muzzle and sanded back the silver on her chest and neck areas.

I was delighted to hear Georgie loved her birthday surprise and her 4 year old daughter also recognised Maggie!
